Special Offers for holders of the

Seniors Card

Three bedroom self-catering accommodation at Mount Beauty. Gateway to the Alpine National Park in the foothills of Victoria's highest mountain.

We charge a fixed price per house not per person per night.

Our accommodation is always competitively priced. Although we can accommodate up to 10 people in one unit, for most of the year we are better value than motels and caravan parks for as few as two people.

For seven months of the year we have a special offer for holders of the seniors card, mainly during the prime Spring and Autumn period.

If you are not a Seniors Card holder Click Here to go to our normal very attractive rates.

The cost per person will depend on the number of friends in your group. Tariff does not include linen. You need to bring your own linen.

How many can share?

The comfortable maximum for a mid-week is eight persons. However for a seniors group we recommend a maximum of two guests per bedroom. This means six persons per group. To view the unit Layout follow this link.

When can we come?

First week of February to the third week of June. Excluding school holidays, and periods around Easter and public holidays. AND Second half of October to the third week of December excluding Melbourne Cup week.
February
If you like it warm this is the time to come. On the really hot days you can head up onto the Bogong High Plains for walks and picnics.
March & April
This is the popular Autumn period. Most of the time the days are still fairly warm.
May & June weeks 1-3
If you prefer the cool weather this the time to come. In some years the sunny spring days extend into July, in other years snow will come in late May. This can be a good time for active walking or an excuse to hit the cafe's.
October weeks 3 & 4 to December week 3
This time of the year is a well kept secret. It is the wild flower season and a time when the weather in the alps is more settled than in other areas.

Who are the target guests?

We expect that the offer will be most popular with groups of two or three couples, two couples and a single or one couple and two or three single seniors. A seniors couple holidaying with their daughter and grand children is another possible combination.

Where will the guests come from?

Most seniors taking up this offer will live within a days drive of Mount Beauty. This will include most of Victoria and southern NSW.  Other possibilities are seniors traveling between Sydney and Melbourne, and Victoria and Queensland who want a three day stop over in the alpine region.
