Guest Luggage Locker Self-Storage and After Check-out
Facilities
Kiewa View guests have access to a luggage locker facility which
is available for use for a limited period after checkout under specified
conditions. We understand that some guests will remain in the area doing
activities after check-out time. Especially so during the snow season and also
guests participating in local cycling and mountain biking events. We appreciate
that snow gear and linen can be bulky items and it may not be particularly
convenient to have all their luggage with them all day. To this end we have
provide a storage locker at Kiewa View that guests can use to deposit items
prior to check-out and return to retrieve later in the day. when other guests
may already be in attendance.
Locker Location
The guest locker is located on the property in the passageway
outside the side/back porch conveniently adjacent to the rear door and
accessible directly from the street by a side gate with minimal disruption to
the current occupants.
Conditions of Use

Available for guest use from 7 pm on Check-in day to 7 pm on
Check-out day.

Guests use at
own responsibility. Kiewa View accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.
·
Guests must
supply own padlocks (up to 2) and should accept that the padlock is most
likely the weakest point of the security.
·
No valuables
should be stored in the locker.
·
Water ingress
is possible. Any items placed in the locker should be protected from
dampness.
·
Keep lid
closed at all times and be especially efficient in closing the lid if
placing and removing items when raining.

Guests must check-out on time and not re-enter or park in the
driveway after check-out time.
·
To retrieve
luggage after check-out guests must park in the street and access the locker
via the small fence and side gates on the left side of the property. Do not
enter driveway.

Mount Beauty
has a very low crime rate. However there are many tourists especially in the
snow season. Guests should keep the gate to the locker area closed at all
times especially when placing items in and out of the locker.

Guests can
access the locker to store items direct via the back porch rear door.
·
If for some
reason guests cannot remove items from the locker by 7 pm on check-out day,
(e.g. stuck on mountain due to road closure) they should contact the
caretaker. Otherwise locks will be removed and items donated to local
charity shop or disposed of.

TIP: For easy opening of the house side gate pull the gate
towards you as you press the latch button.
Falls Creek Entry.
Entrance and parking charges at Falls Creek per car can be
expensive. It makes sense to only take the minimum number of cars up the
mountain each day. When you are staying on the next night at Kiewa View you can
simple leave the one or two extra cars parked under cover at Kiewa View. However
where can you leave them on your last day after check-out.
Big Hill Mountain Bike Park Trail Head parking space.
Located on Bogong High Plains Road before the 60 KPH limit, downhill from
Tawonga Cres. There is a large car Park, toilets, change room and spacious
undercover area where you can re-pack out of the weather if necessary.

Pondage Playground parking space.
Located off Lakeside Avenue near the Library behind the Children's
centre. Has toilets and undercover shelter but no change room.

Shower Facilities at Falls Creek
There are two lots of public shower facilities at Falls Creek. The toilets at
Salmon Plaza above the supermarket have shower cubicles but no separate change
area. The public facilities across the road from the Gully car park also have
shower facilities with the advantage of a spacious change area.
